The parish is very fortunate in having Reverend John Ablewhite, a retired priest now living in our parish, who says Mass regularly to support Fr Tony and Deacon John. Originally a teacher, Fr John was ordained a Church of England priest in 1984.  He converted to Roman Catholicism in 1999 and was ordained a Deacon and Priest in 2000. Fr John has since served in a number of roles within various parish and chaplaincy settings, most recently in Westminster Cathedral.

The parish is also very fortunate to have Reverend John Steel, our deacon, who supports Father Tony and the parish and its parishioners.  He can be reached by telephone on 01353 659384 or by email at deacon@elyrcchurch.com.  Formerly the Managing Director of Stagecoach Cambus Holdings Ltd, Deacon John was ordained in 1996. He has been married to Margaret since 1964 and they have two sons, John and Michael, and five grandchildren, four boys and a girl.

Our church and presbytery are located at 19 Egremont Street, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB6 1AE where there is a small car park behind the church.  In addition we have kindly been given permission to use the Kings School Lower School car park, directly opposite the church, for parking for Saturday night and Sunday Masses.
